Toy story 3 is the best conclusion to this franchise, and I stand by that it was emotional and heartwarming, and I had a wonder message

The thing I most dislike about Toy Story 4 is that the other movies’ main characters except for Woody were hardly in it at all. Neither Rex, Hamm, Mr. Potato Head, Slinky Dog, not even Jesse play any significant role in this movie. I can understand why Potato Head got shafted considering that his voice actor died, but I would have liked to see the other characters get more to do. And Buzz Lightyear (who was my favorite character growing up) gets it the worst. Not only is Buzz not in the movie much, but they turn him into a total moron with that voice box shit. How does Buzz Lightyear, who has been aware that he’s a toy for more than a decade not understand his basic toy anatomy? It’s so stupid. Feels like the writers thought that Woody was the only character people liked. It’s weird and lame.

Kaufman wasn't that original, comedy was edgier than Lucille Ball, he was just a dick who thought he earned the right to fuck with people. He wasn't funny at all.

I think the message of the movie is that you really have to be careful with your decisions in life. Paul ruined his life. At the end, returning with that annoying crazy vietnamese girl, was a stupid decision. Paul is a pathetic and weak man. The ending reinforces this idea. He watches that old sick mexican eating his food. His life sucks.

The jungle book remake was good because it was the same key beats but different, meanwhile lion king is the same as the old one but worse

I almost went to the Cinema with my Fiance because of the Trailers and it looked like a comedy movie where "big" and "little" live together... well, glad I didn't go!

I literally fell asleep during watching the movie, woke up an hour later, ate, scrolled back, watched it to the end, was puzzled and annoyed. Also very annoyed at portraying Norway as a social dystopia as compared to US, which noone seems to discuss. I have been here for 1,5 years as a war refugee and I have never had so many suicidal thoughts or felt so alone.

I remember watching this movie the day it came out in the cinema. I went with my parents and little sister because the original movie was often played and loved in our childhood, so it felt right we all went to see the sequel together. I remember leaving the cinema that day feeling very disappointed. However I wasn’t getting that sentiment from anyone else so I figured maybe this was a me problem. I’m glad to know now I’m not the only one

Most of Toy Story 4's problems are more from the execution of their ideas. If they're gonna do it, at least do it right! They did not.

I didn’t even understand the opening Circle of Life in the live action

The live action movie of Mufasas death makes sense why Scar hit him instead of flinging him off like the animated It wouldn’t make sense if Scar flings him off because he would have to move his hands off of him the live action one was way worse but the only thing I can say that I liked is Scars voice when he says Long Live the King it sounds kind of menacing and evil

Toy Story 4 could have been about Woody accepting that he wouldn't always be the favourite, something he struggled with since 1 and didn't really have to consider ever since as Andy reverted to preferring him. Then, 5 could have been about Bonnie growing up and being a teen (12-13), an age we haven't seen yet and then Andy would return, married, and take his toys for his children. Then 6 could have centered around the toy gang being played by Andy's children and him as a dad and perhaps touching on the whole digital age, as children spend a lot of time playing videogames nowadays. This could have been a fine ending 2.0 and a message about the importance of playing with real toys. Instead, Woody's character was butchered, he was manipulated by an evil doll who ultimately got exactly what she wanted, he was constantly abused by Bo Peep, who suddenly became a "bossgirl" because we need a stupid "feminist" massage, the main character was a fork in denial, Buzz was reduced to a dumb dumb, the rest of the gang had nothing to do but delay Bonnie's parents and the ending went against everything the other films stood for. Shame...

I was a bit surprised that anyone could dislike the bee episode more than the Mily Cyrus episode, until I saw this video is six years old and therefore came out before the Cyrus sode.

Toy Story 4 was a good movie. It just was unessasary

People like Incredibles 2 because media literacy isn’t actually taught in schools. English teachers will just tell their students what the themes of some boring old book are, and give them an A if they just repeat what they were told. I didn’t even hear the words “character development” until I started watching movie review videos in college.

This film had many chances to explore different concepts but decided to explore none of them. I kept watching thinking they would explore x or y but they never did any of it and I was disappointed. Of all paths they chose a forced romance path…

Happytime Murder is an immature adult movie. I don't mind R rated movie but it is mediocre. This movie plot and twist make no sense. It is so disgusting & cringe. I heard it was originally going to be serious crime puppet. What a shame, that they make it comedic garbage.
